To join a Ring Match, it's best to have your friend start the match in one of the open areas, like Kame House in the upper left corner of the lobby, or the small town area in the lower right corner of the lobby where there aren't any other activities. Just like any other online fighting game lobby, people can spectate if they're not in an active match, which is why you can have more than six players in the room. This can be anywhere from two players, up to eight players. Give the password to your friends so they can join your Ring Match once it has been created.įinally, you can select the total number of players allowed in the Ring Match. If you're creating a private match with just your friends or specific people you want to join, set a Ring Password. If you don't care which players are on each team and just want completely random teams, select the Ring Party Match (Shuffle) option. This setting also allows you to choose which players are on each team. Select Ring Party Match if you want to play 3-on-3, with each person controlling a different character.
